The purpose of this book

[2 Timothy 3:16-17 CEB]

Every scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for showing mistakes, for correcting, and for training character, so that the person who belongs to God can be equipped to do everything that is good.

God wants you to know Him and you can only achieve this by meditating on His Word.In my previous post I mentioned that I was homeless at some point hence those were my deserts and yet the best days of my life! The six months that I lived there God trained me to put His Word first in my life.I met one good friend of mine.I always call her woman of God and she would be filled with so much joy:)Awe...:)I love her!She is from another denomination but God used her to touch my life.If there something that enjoy doing is seeking the presence of God,reading my bible, writting about Jesus and talking about Him to people that He puts on my path:)
In the hostel I shared a dom with eight girls and it was almost impossible to pray or study the Word of God but God made a way where there seemed no way.The toilet was then my hidding place...stills is...
I vividly remember one girl who used to scoff and attack me only because I would wake up very early for my intimate moments with God.She told everybody in the hostel that I was 'meditating'lol and disturbing them! You know how it can get sometimes. When gossip goes to the third party and so forth, the news gets totally distorted! My goodness! They used to call me the one that carries a Bible..It was quite a good laugh for me and I said to my friend'atleast I've been identified by something that is good alright!
Getting back to the subject, this woman of God is very disciplined when comes to personal Bible study. She was such a good inspiration that I had no choice but to learn. Its absolutely amazing what God puts in our path at times:)God used her to teach me more about meditating on His word in order to get revelation hence connect my thoughts to His.I would share with her as well what I learn in my church and we were both gratefull that we met. She would wake up as early as 4am to study the word and she would meditate on a spiritual book in the evening. This takes discipline and perseverance my friend. It is not easy but achievable! The Hostel is where God blessed me most.I didn't look at my circumstances but my eyes were fixed on the Lord.I started writting spiritual articles for a local newspaper when I was still in that same hostel,homeless..We cannot despise small beginnings or little things. It doesn't matter where you are,the Word can work you!For us to achieve greater things, we ought to start from the Word that transforms nothing into something.

[Joshua 1:8 AMP]

This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

I was reading my bible always but I changed my habbits and until today I don't even need to set an alarm to wake me up to meditate on His Word.It gives me a chance to do what I love doing which is sharing my thoughts about the things of God:)There is someone who wakes me up:)...and if I don't obey I get in trouble!
Im nothing close perfect and not yet where I wanna be but I wanna share  the little that gets layed in my heart.God doesn't want us to be selfish.
In conclusion, the word of God is alive and powerfull.Keep it in your heart and speak it over tough situations you face.Call those things that are not as if there were. There is an article I wrote months ago about 10 confessions of who I am in Christ, please have a look and keep these confessions in your heart.Nothing beats the Word.Get into this habit of confessing the Word each morning and everytime when you panic or something, your life will change!!
